Dewdrop Notes works with another rebel/maverick. Malaysian girl Angeline Tan hails from Johor Baru. She came to Singapore to pursue further education some 5 years ago and graduated with a diploma at one of our local polytechnics.
She started modelling at the age of 21. But her then boyfriend (Singaporean) was against it, objecting to the 抛头露面. For better or worse, she broke up with him recently and she decided to pursue her dream and passion freely – at the ripe age of 25.
A late starter by any standards, Angeline has plenty of catching up to do and the odds aren’t good. Fortunately, Angeline has as much tenacity as she has potential. Isn’t Angeline’s story found in many of us out there? We can’t turn back the clock and there’s no use crying over missed opportunities, but with the little remaining time that we have, we can always try to play catch up. In Angeline’s case, she may just make it.
