Growing Past The Dreamer’s Age

by admin May 2, 2013 Comments

LONA 9

With an offering
Of the sweetest bud
I make a prayer
To this field
That is forever green
A firm mat of grasses
However long they grow
They will not topple
Their blades remain green
Never growing past the dreamer’s age
Their roots
Gripping the earth
Never letting go
Of glowing seeds
That dance in the wind.
